Ed Sheeran - Small Bump

This song by Ed Sheeran is set in a hospital, and th focus is always on him in the video. A few other people fade in and out of the scene to represent different things that happen in a hospital. The camera zooms slowly into and out of the scene which is parallel with the music as the music is quite slow paced. The lighting throughout the scene is quite bright, due to all the lights within the scene being turned on. In most of his music videos Ed Sheeran is shown quite dressed down which is how people recognise him. In this video he is dressed in a hoodie, jeans and trainers. The genre of this song is singer/song writer and the video is narrative as it gives the idea of waiting around in a hospital and him telling the story of what is happening.

Fun - We Are Young

This video, like Small Bump, is narrative but it is also a performance. The scenes straight cut quickly, from one scene to another. This song is a pop/rock song and is much more upbeat than Small Bump and the lighting is a lot darker within each scene. The band are all wearing suits and are dressed quite smartly, but their song is more of a 'fun' song instead of being more formal. The music video is mainly in slow motion, in both the performance and the bar. This is contrapuntal to the music as the music is very upbeat, and the scenes are slow paced.
